China Cocoon and Silk Exchange (hereinafter referred to as CCSE), a national exchange specialized in cocoon and silk, was established in 1992 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province by the joint capital of China National Silk IM/EX Corp., China Silk industrial & Trading Corporation, China Raw Silk Co. Ltd. and Silk IM/EX Corporations of the provinces of Jiangsu, zhejiang and Sichuan as well as Jiaxing with the approval of the former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and Ministry of Textile Industry.
CCSE is non-profit organization with main task to provide information on supply and demand, to organize trade, to guide production and sale, to dispose resources reasonably, and to explore new ways for circulating china cocoon and silk. As the center of trading, price, information and logistics, CCSE covers variety of dried silk, raw silk, silk materials, subsidiary materials, raw silk spinning and textile machinery
located in Jiaxing，Zhejiang province as the Chinese silk distributing center where is abundant in cocoon & silk with a long history of silk. CCSE covers an area of 36,000 square meters equipped with advanced computer trading network system by state-funded e-silk engineering, good-designed business premises, excellent capital settlement center, advanced logistics as well as financial supporting service system.
CCSE has both online and spot transaction. On the principle of openness, fairness, equity, and credibility, online transaction carries out membership system and adopts B2B on the basis of esilk.net with trade product mainly on dried cocoon and raw silk.
Spot transaction adopts the following form: Companies rent business rooms in CCSE and set up operating organizations, which are to be enrolled and registered in Jiaxing. Transactions are concluded by negotiation on the principle of majoring in cocoon and silk with multi-management.
